Avalon Industries is renowned as a reliable resource for the design, development and manufacturing of quality sewn industrial fabric products.

Avalon started manufacturing products for the Department of Defense in 1981. Since then, our business has expanded into manufacturing many products for industrial and commercial applications. We are located in the Raleigh Industrial Building on Wicomico Street near the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. 

Avalon's CAD capabilities augment our product development and prototyping skills used to create a diverse list of items used by the Defense and Commercial industries. We are a certified SBA HUBZone manufacturer and  our quality system has been approved by the U.S. Department of Defense, Lockheed, General Dynamics, Textron, Smith Detection among others.

In addition to many Department of Defense items, Avalon manufacturers a varitety of bags, backpacks and carrying cases for commercial applications. Avalon also manufactures a series of Ad Specialty and Promotional products used by First Responders, Schools and Business that need casual and active wear in support of their daily work routines and to accomplish their missions. Capabilites are not limited to clothing as bags, backpacks, portfolios and briefcases are also provided with professional embroidery, screen print and heat transfers.
